All of Mile Rock’s Principals have worked closely together for over a decade.

Prior to forming Mile Rock, Mr. Georgeson managed West Coast and Pacific Northwest acquisition and development investments for Stockbridge Capital Group, a $15.0+ billion real estate investment firm based in San Francisco.  At Stockbridge, Mr. Georgeson was responsible for various investments and restructuring assignments totaling over $3.3 billion including the acquisition of a nationwide manufactured home community portfolio, the restructuring of a West Coast mixed-income multifamily portfolio and the workout of an East Coast mixed-use portfolio.  Mr. Georgeson was also previously Manager of Land Acquisition and Site Development at Habitat for Humanity, an affordable residential housing non-profit organization in Orange County, CA.  

Mr. Georgeson began his career in New York City as a Research Analyst for Glenview Capital Management, a multi-billion dollar hedge fund, and an Investment Banking Analyst for Merrill Lynch.

Mr. Georgeson received his Masters in Business Administration from Harvard Business School and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.  He is an Advisory Board Member for the Fisher Center for Real Estate and Urban Economics at University of California, Berkeley.

Prior to forming Mile Rock, Mr. Reid managed Northern California and Pacific Northwest based acquisition and development investments for MacFarlane Partners, a real estate private equity firm based in San Francisco.  While at MacFarlane, Mr. Reid was involved in the acquisition, development and management of over $1.5 billion of multifamily, residential condo, office and hotel assets.

Prior to MacFarlane, Mr. Reid was as Investment Associate for Quad-C Management, a New York based private equity investment firm.  Mr. Reid began his career as an Investment Banking Analyst for Lehman Brothers in New York.

Mr. Reid received a Masters in Business Administration from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Colorado.

Mr. Papageorge has 13 years of real estate investment experience and has been a Principal with Mile Rock since 2019.  Prior to joining Mile Rock, Mr. Papageorge was in the real estate investment group at GIC, Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund.  In this role, he oversaw GIC’s U.S. investments in the industrial and single family sectors as well as investments in Mexico.  During his time at GIC, Mr. Papageorge was directly involved in the acquisition of over 137 million square feet of industrial properties as well as the structuring of numerous joint ventures in the industrial and single family rental sectors.  Prior to joining GIC, Mr. Papageorge was a Vice President at Stockbridge Capital Group and was focused on new acquisitions and asset management.  At Stockbridge, Mr. Papageorge helped to oversee various investments, totaling over $1.9 billion, including the acquisition of 113 manufactured home communities across three portfolio transactions, the development of a 346,000 square foot office building in Seattle, WA and the acquisition of a distressed mezzanine note secured by a large west-coast industrial portfolio.

Mr. Papageorge began his career in New York City as a Real Estate Investment Banking Analyst for Merrill Lynch.

Mr. Papageorge graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Business Management from Georgetown University.  Additionally, he is a member of Urban Land Institute’s (ULI) National Industrial/Office Product Council.
